Friendship

Dear (your name), We've been best friends since second grade. We just seemed to click right away. And now, going into our 2nd year of college, you're more than just my best friend; you're like my sister. I know we've had our ups and downs. I know we've grown together, apart, and back together again so often that it's almost become predictable. We've had our share of fights, but then again, all friends do. There were times, mostly back in middle school, when I worried I wasn't "cool enough" to be your friend, but you were there for me, and somehow we managed to stick it all out. I love you like a sister. I care about you. I'm always going to be here for you no matter what. When no one else is around, I'll still be there for you. I'll still be the shoulder you can cry on, the one you can tell everything to... because I know you'd do the same for me. And that's what friendship is. But now it's like you'r...

A tweet from an Idol

Yeah. Danny Noriega, The Danny Noriega , tweeted us. ♥

Is Nothing *Mine*??

My sister and I made myspace accounts. Not long after that, our mom made a myspace. And our dad. And who knows what other family members. Mom said, long ago, that Nikki and I could only have facebook accounts if we added her as a friend. Then dad made a facebook. Then grandma. Then who knows what other family members. Now, I have a twitter. I've had a twitter since March last year, I think. And now my family is slowly, but surely, making their own twitter accounts and following me. (Note: Uncle John, I don't mind you following me :)) Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad at them exactly, but twitter just seemed like *my* thing. There were things I posted on twitter that I would never post on facebook because my mom, or other family members, would see it. Twitter was like, my place I could vent about stuff, yes including my family and not have to worry about them reading it. I'm more myself on twitter than I am on ANY other website (with the exception of youtube...

Connie Talbot Pictures

Image
I didn't think I had the pictures from the two days I saw Connie in concert on my computer, but turns out that I do. They were REALLY dark (as in, you couldn't see anything at all in them), so I've edited them to make them lighter. Yes, they're small, but I think you can click on them to see the slightly-bigger-but-still-small versions. And yes, they're tagged. I don't want people stealing them and claiming them as their own. Meteor Shower! .... or not.

Last night (er.. well.. this morning, actually) there was a meteor shower. Around 3 - 3:30 was when there was supposed to be the most meteors, so I set the alarm on my cell phone for 2:55. My alarm goes off, scares me and wakes me up. I wake up Nikki, and she wakes up Hailey. We put on sweatshirts (it was cold outside) and shoes, and all go outside. And of course........ It was too cloudy to see anything.

Connie Talbot

If you're a member of Connie Talbot's official forum, then odds are that you've read this already. Connie's forum has been down for several days now, and I don't know what's going on with it. When the forum first went down, I checked my computer to see if I had saved what I had written up after meeting Connie. I hadn't. I was a bit upset, thinking I had forever lost my "reports" of the two days of seeing Connie in concert and meeting her. Today, I remembered that I might have posted them on a different forum I go on. Expecting the disappointment of not being able to find it, I logged on to the forum... and found what I was looking for. Note: Dan and I aren't friends anymore. It's a long, complicated story that I'd rather not get into. I know what happened between us. He knows. And my best friend knows. No one else needs to. I happened a while ago. It's done, over with, in the past. Also note: I didn't lose the pict...

Writing

I started writing this a while ago. I have my characters developed in my mind, and I know what I want to happen. Anyway, here's just a small bit of it. Yes, I have more than just this written. And no, I probably won't post more of it online because it's mine and I don't want it to get stolen. Although... if I know you in real life, I'd probably most likely share more of it with you. And there are some friends from online who I've known for a couple years now, who I consider myself to be friends with, who I would probably show as well. So if you want to read more, just ask. The worst I can tell you is "no", right? Feedback would be greatly appreciated :) I gazed off into the distance, looking but not seeing. One step, that’s all it would take. I could step off the ledge right now and be done with it all. I could see it, my funeral, what life would be like without me. My twin brother, Jaxton, he’d make sure my mom had a funeral for me; ...

Brad Paisley Concert Pictures

Image
Finally, here's some pictures from the Brad Paisley concert. :) I got a new camera while I was down in Virginia a few weeks ago, since Hailey broke my other one. I was upset because I loved my old camera. It frustrated me sometimes and had weird little quirks, but it was mine. I knew my camera. I knew how to make is focus when it didn't want to. I knew, hated, and loved the fact that for whatever reason, it always put a red dot or two on the pictures. I could make it zoom in just a little more than it should've been able to. It was my baby. But my new camera is better than my old one. It has a way better zoom. I'm still figuring it out and learning new things about it (no, I'm not going to read the instructions. Thanks though.). So anyway, here are some pictures. If you're following me on twitter then you've probably already seen at least most of these... but they're worth another look.
