"Hold on to this lullaby, even when the music's gone."

The title of this post has absolutely nothing to do with this post. It's just my favorite line from "Safe and Sound" by Taylor Swift ft. the Civil Wars, and I had no creative ideas as to what to title this post. Anyways.

I can't wait to be back at school! Has it really only been 10 days that I've been home? Because it feels so much longer than that. I'm so bored here. I miss my friends from school. I miss doing school work. I miss hanging out with my roommate. I miss roommate/neighbor dates where Anna, Leeanna, and I hung out and watched movies and ate yummy cake from Cookies & Cream on campus. I miss playing Apples to Apples and hanging out in the middle of the hallway with everyone. I miss everything about school. Except for the food. And the fact that the cleaning lady obviously hates the girls on the 6th floor. Also, I want it to snow. It's not even cold enough to snow, and it's December 26th! What the heck is up with this?!

I HAVE A PRETTY DRESS AND COWBOY BOOTS AND WONDERSTRUCK! I can't wait for the Snow Ball (a dance at school) so I finally have an excuse to wear it all. I need my grandma to fix the dress (it's a little too big). The boots are a little bit too big; my mom and I are going to where she bought them sometime soon so we can see if they have a half size smaller. I have no complaints about Wonderstruck. It smells SO beautiful, and the smell lasts a really long time. It's amazing. You know what? I never before in my entire life have cared about having a "pretty" dress. This is pretty much the first time. Well... I liked my prom dress. But that was more cool than pretty; it was black and purple. This dress is black and pretty and looks so freaking cute with my cowboy boots on and I love it. Yeah.

Anyways. That's pretty much all I feel like typing at the moment. I hope you all had a great Christmas, assuming you celebrate it. If you don't, then I hope you had a happy (insert holiday of your choice here).

OH! CHRISTMAS! Right. Christmas was pretty good. Nikki and I had breakfast with mom and Pete and opened presents here. We got our mom a calender with pictures of us, like the one we got our dad last year. I got Wonderstruck, cowboy boots, an amazing super-cute pair of really nice and warm slippers, a million and ten pairs of socks, some clothes, a Taylor Swift 2012 calender, and Taylor's "Ours" CD single. Then later in the day, we went up to our aunt and uncle's house for to open presents with them, our 2 cousins, and our grandparents. I got a $25 gift card (which I spent today on a game called "Hedbanz"), a really silly game called "Quelf" that I can't wait to play with my friends from school, lots more pairs of socks, a gift card to Subway (I love Subway. More than normal people do.), and a NERF gun! Annnd then we went back home, where Nikki, Ron, and I played Quelf, which was really fun. It's a silly game with no real point to it. Had dinner with mom, Nikki, aunt Tammi, Ron, and Pete. All in all, it was a pretty good Christmas. A lot better than last year.

Also, how do you guys like my new header and background on here? I did it earlier today, and I really like how it looks. Your opinions? :)
